Pennsylvania EETT Video Case Studies

The Pennsylvania Department of Education contracted the Metiri Group and the Instructional Systems Program at Penn State to conduct EETT project evaluations for Pennsylvania. The evaluations included site visits of randomy selected EETT schools, and video case studies of effective EETT technology implementations.

Nine school districts were selected for the video case studies based on recommendations and phone interviews.

  • Ligonier Valley (K-8)

A model for organizing the information gathered was developed based on site visits at over 30 schools. The conditions for effective projects were

A set of interview questions was developed around these themes and two visual models developed to guide navigation of the case studies. The model view has five clickable areaas, Effective Leadership, Tech-Ready Teachers, Seamless Access, Effective Practice, and Stduent Learning. The model view is the better interface for developing and understanding of a single case study.

 

The matrix view permits exploration horizontally by school district or vertically by theme.
