DEOS-L is a moderated listserv that facilitates discussion of current issues in distance education. This forum now serves over 3,000 subscribers in 74 countries. Between 1991 and 2001 this electronic journal was published monthly to promote distance education scholarship, research, and practice. Publication was suspended temporarily after volume 12.3 but resumed in January, 2004 with volume 13.1. Back issues can be found in the DEOSNEWS Archives. Submission of Manuscripts Researchers and practitioners in the field are encouraged to submit manuscripts for consideration. Manuscripts should be in APA format and sent electronically to acsde@psu.edu. Questions about DEOSNEWS or the American Center for the Study of Distance Education (ACSDE) also may be sent directly to Melody Thompson, director of ACSDE, at mmt2@psu.edu.
Although copyright for articles published in DEOSNEWS resides with the ACSDE, authors are welcome to post their own articles on their personal Web sites or otherwise use them for educational purposes, with a notation of the DEOSNEWS publication history and American Center for the Study of Distance Education copyright.
