RESEARCH INTERESTS Training the children's mental health workforce; public mental health services for children and their families; socioeconomic status, racial, and gender influences on mental health; school-based mental health; and community-based participatory research. RESEARCH AND COLLABORATION OPPORTUNITIES Community members, youth, families, faculty, and students are welcome to contact me with their ideas/needs for research projects and interventions related to children's mental health. National studies of the workforce needs of Licensed Professional Counselors and pre-service practitioners in children's mental health are currently being developed.
