PROBLEM BEHAVIORS OF PRESCHOOLERS CAN BE IDENTIFIED WITH NEW MEASURE

Up to fifteen percent of children have mild to moderate behavior problems that can now be accurately identified using a new scale, according to a Penn State researcher.

20TH CENTURY RISE IN IQ SCORES DUE TO EDUCATION

IQ scores have risen more than 20 points in just the past 60 years, and historical changes in formal schooling and approaches to mathematics education deserve kudos, say two education theorists.

In a preliminary Penn State study, a researcher has found indications that psychological treatments are effective in reducing the cognitive and psychosocial injuries that arise from child maltreatment.
