The College granted degrees to 476 students in the Undergraduate and Graduate commencement ceremonies on May 13 and 14.

The new Council is expected to provide inspiration for future educational leaders.

CYCLE-THON RAISES MORE THAN $2,000 FOR SCOPE

Cycle-thon 2006 was a great success, with over 50 riders ranging from age 14 to 67. Check out the photos of the first annual event.

COLLEGE FUNDRAISING UPDATE

Donors now have contributed more than $1.7 million this year, nearly half a million dollars above the goal.

Doctoral students are providing mental health services to the clientele of Centre Volunteers in Medicine.

Kelly assumes editorship of Science Education this summer and co-editorship of Review of Research in Education in 2008.

SCHOOL READINESS IS A TWO-WAY STREET

Jim and Karen Johnson attended a major conference on early childhood education in the Netherlands and found renewed international interest in pre-K learning.

BEVERLY LINDSAY AWARDED FELLOWSHIP IN TERRORISM STUDIES

Lindsay will study in Israel this summer as part of her fellowship with the Foundation for the Defense of Democracies.

STUDENTS PUBLISH THIRD VOLUME OF HIGHER EDUCATION IN REVIEW

Graduate students in the Higher Education program have published the third volume of Higher Education in Review.

 

Congratulations Students!

Betty Harper has won a Juran Doctoral Award for the quality of her research.

Numerous graduate students have been making presentations at various national conferences.
