AILP PROGRAM RECEIVES $1 MILLION GRANT

U.S. Deputy Secretary of Education Eugene Hickok visited Penn State in August to present a $1 million grant to the American Indian Leadership Program to train a cohort of principals for American Indian and Alaska Native schools.

RUHL NAMED DEPARTMENT HEAD

Kathy Ruhl, professor of special education, has been named to lead the Department of Educational and School Psychology and Special Education.

ADULT EDUCATION PROGRAM OFFERS NEW PH.D.

A new Ph.D. program in Adult Education is designed to give students a better grounding in research.
