COUNSELORS SHOULD CONSIDER BROACHING SPIRITUAL/RELIGIOUS ISSUES WITH TROUBLED STUDENTS

Penn State research suggest that counseling sessions for university students might be more helpful if religious and spiritual issues are addressed by counselors.

HIGH SCHOOL MERIT-BASED SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMS MAY HAVE FLAWS

Broad-based merit scholarship programs designed to create incentives for underperforming high school students have two potential flaws, according to Penn State researchers.

TEACHERS ATTENDING ADELANTE PROGRAMS HAVE GREATER AWARENESS/SENSITIVITY TO DIVERSITY

Project Adelante provides participants with an enhanced awareness of cultural differences and the ability to recognize and diffuse potential classroom problems.
