TECHNICAL DEGREE GRADUATES IN DEMAND

Most high-wage jobs in coming years will require an associate degree. However, Pennsylvania and other states continue to earmark most funds for four-year and graduate degrees, according to professor Kenneth Gray.

SEGREGATION STILL IN PLACE IN PRIVATE SCHOOLS

America’s private schools are more segregated than public schools, according to a recent report co-authored by assistant professor Sean Reardon.

SHOULD WE BE MORE LIKE THEM?

American’s score lower in high school math and science achievement tests than students in other wealthy countries, says professor David Baker. Should we strive to be more like them?

NUMBER OF MATHEMATICS COURSES TAKEN LEADS TO HIGHER RATES OF COLLEGE DEGREE COMPLETION

A high school student who completes advanced math courses is more likely to ultimately earn a college degree, but too many math teachers lack proper training, according to a new study.
