Penn State's online Certificate in Distance Education is an 12-credit certificate program designed to enhance the professional expertise of persons involved in teaching or planning instruction through the medium of distance education. These credits can be applied toward either a master's degree or a doctorate in adult education. Course topics include:

Human Resource Development/Workplace Learning
Penn State's online Certificate in Workplace Learning is an 18-credit interdisciplinary certificate program designed to meet the professional development needs of human resource professionals and those involved in workplace learning.
