Elizabeth Forward Senior High School, Elizabeth, PA

For the last 15 years, Bill served as the AP chemistry teacher and accelerated chemistry and physics teacher at the Elizabeth Forward Senior High School, After a career spanning 36 years in the profession, he retired in 2010. During his tenure, Bill initiated and coordinated several annual student events, the monies for which benefited the Pittsburgh Chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Bill is a lifetime member of the Penn State Alumni Association and  the Nittany Lion Club and has always been an advocate for the advantages of receiving a Penn State education. Bill and his wife, Bunny, serve as the chairs of the Greater Allegheny Chapter of the Alumni-Student Teacher Network and have participated in the College's annual Cycle-Thon event. Recently, he and his wife established the "Bill and Bunny Scholarship in Science and Math Education" further supporting Penn State and its fine tradition.
