Lawrence J. Wess

Lawrence Wess recently retired as the Superintendent of Schools for the Cambria Heights School District. Previously, he was the Supervisor of Curriculum and Instruction for the Penn Cambria School District and also served as the Assistant Principal and Principal for the Penn Cambria Middle School. He has served on the executive board and regional board of the PA Middle School Association, and presented at national, state and local conferences. Certified in elementary education, biology, and general science, Dr. Wess' teaching career has included students from grades two to nine. He is a member of many professional organizations including PSBA, Phi Delta Kappa, ASCD, NSTA, and NAESSP. Lawrence also is an adjunct instructor with Penn State Altoona, teaching Educational Theory and Policy.
