Patricia Best is on the Board of Governors of the Pennsylvania Association of School Administrators (PASA), and serves on the executive committee of the Women’s Caucus of PASA. She is involved with Leadership Centre County and a board member of the Chamber of Business and Industry of Centre County. She is an adjunct professor in the College of Education and member of Penn State Alumni Association who was previously elected to Alumni Society Board of Directors for two terms. Patricia was the 1997 Leadership and Service Award winner from the Penn State College of Education Alumni Society. She also was awarded the Outstanding Educational Leader Award and the Kozak Award for Leadership, Research, and Service. Patricia has 24 years of service to the State College Area School District as assistant superintendent, Director of Planning, Research, and Communications, high school guidance counselor, and English teacher.
