Academic Concentrations
Academic Concentrations
In keeping with the established standards and guidelines, this permits students to pursue in breadth and/or depth, courses from one or more disciplines in these designated areas. Students may also pursue minors in other areas. For example, Psychology, Human Development and Family Studies, or Sociology are popular minors in the Social Sciences Academic Concentration, a History minor is popular within the Arts & Humanities, Instructional Technology Integration is popular within Science and Mathematics, and Educational Policy Studies is popular within Social Sciences and Arts & Humanities.
NOTE: Academic Concentration areas may not be double counted for any other requirements within this major. Please see your adviser if you are interested in pursuing a minor.
