Iris is a former high school mathematics and physical education teacher. Prior to her current position, she coordinated an online M.Ed. program with a teacher leadership focus. Iris was also affiliated with the Office of Preservice Teaching Experiences at Penn State University where she worked closely with school districts and prospective teachers in securing and supporting field placements. Currently, Iris is an assistant professor in C&I teaching mathematics education courses to preservice teachers. Research interests include instructional supervision and leadership, online pedagogy, and integrated curriculum, with a focus on the arts.
