Options for the ESL certificate

 

ESL Program Options

 

Students may complete the ESL certificate program at Penn State by following two different pathways:

ESL Certificate for Teachers – this is a traditional program option with all classes held on campus. Please note program requirements for course descriptions.

Teaching ESL with Immersion Experience – this is a new intensive study option which offers weekend and online courses and an international practice teaching experience.  For more detailed information, please check the following link: http://www.outreach.psu.edu/programs/TESL.
