Welcome to our site. The CECPRS department is made up of four program areas all unified by a strong focus on training multiculturally competent and ethical professionals that benefit humanity.

Our graduate programs are all nationally accredited.
Our Counselor Education graduate programs are consistently ranked in the top 10 by U.S. News & World Report.
Faculty in the Counselor Education programs received a 1st place ranking from the Chronicle of Higher Education in terms of faculty scholarly productivity.
Faculty in the Counseling Psychology programs received a 2nd place ranking from the Chronicle of Higher Education in terms of faculty scholarly productivity.
Our Rehabilitation and Human Services major includes a 15-credit, semester-long internship that provides students with hands-on work experience.
We have a very active chapter of Chi Sigma Iota, which is an International Academic and Professional Honor Society for counselors.
We have an active undergraduate organization for students in the Rehabilitation and Human Services major.
Collectively, our faculty:
serve on national journal editorial boards and as editors of professional journals.
have written approximately 600 journal articles and 50 books, and have delivered over 600 presentations.
have been recognized by various professional organizations for their outstanding teaching and mentoring.
