The Cedar Clinic
The Cedar Clinic is a counseling service administered and staffed by the Department of Counselor Education, Counseling Psychology and Rehabilitation Services. The Cedar Clinic
has two primary purposes: a) to provide counseling regarding vocational, personal, and educational concerns to Penn State students (and occasionally non-students) enrolled at University Park, and b) to provide supervised clinical training to counselor education master's students and counselor education and counseling psychology doctoral students. Two unique features of the Clinic are the unlimited counseling sessions for clients and no fee for services.
Referrals
Typically clients are referred from the Center for Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS). If you have not been seen at the Cedar Clinic previously, you must first go to CAPS for an initial interview (more information about CAPS can be found at www.sa.psu.edu/caps/)

Hours of Operation
The Cedar Clinic is open during the Fall and Spring academic calendars of the University Park campus and operates within the confines of the academic calendar. The clinic operates Monday through Thursday 9 am - 8 pm. The Clinic is closed during the summer and during any official university closings, including fall and spring breaks, holidays, and inclement weather.
