ADULT LEARNER ENROLLMENT SERVICES, 128 Outreach Building, 865-5403 or 800-252-3592. Provides services for any adult learner.

CAREER DEVELOPMENT AND PLACEMENT, 101 Bank of America Building, 865-2377. Placement service and information workshops on career opportunities, resume preparation, interviewing skills, and job search strategies, as well as the "DISCOVER" and "Sigi"computer-based career guidance system. Professional credentials file service for graduates.

CENTER FOR COUNSELING AND PSYCHOLOGICAL SERVICES (CAPS), 221 Ritenour, 863-0395. Provides comprehensive personal/psychological counseling services on a confidential basis.

COLLEGE OF EDUCATION ADVISING CENTER, 228 Chambers, 865-0488. General information and advising for undergraduate Education programs and certification.

COLLEGE OF EDUCATION COUNSELING SERVICE, 100 Cedar, 863-0048. Counseling and testing designed to help students deal with a variety of academic and personal concerns.

DIVISION OF UNDERGRADUATE STUDIES, 118 Grange, 865-7576. Serves students during their freshman or sophomore years by providing academic counseling as they explore career options and select majors.

FINANCIAL AID, Office of Student Aid, 314 Shields, 865-6301. Information and advice about scholarships, student loans, and other forms of financial assistance.

JUDICIAL AFFAIRS, 135 Boucke, 863-0342. Handles discipline cases for the University using mediation and educational programs in addition to the formal discipline process. Offers free and confidential conflict management, mediation, and intercultural conflict management training for the University community.

LEARNING RESOURCE CENTER, 220 Boucke, 865-1841. All PSU students are encouraged to use the following services of the Center:

MEDIA TECH INFO LINE (TELEPHONE INFORMATION FOR PENN STATE), 863-1234. This system provides telephone access to automated listening information about resources including Career Services, Financial Aid, Grades, Jobs, Majors, Maps, Policies and Procedures Study Skills and Weather.

TUTORING CENTER offers one-to-one tutoring for most courses. Individualized instruction and help is provided to students based on needs which can range from difficulty understanding a single concept, problem or chapter, to a more pervasive deficiency stemming from lack of adequate background preparation in the content area being studied. Requests for individual tutoring are closely coordinated with other services already being provided through the Learning Resource Center.

MATH CENTER provides drop-in tutoring in Math 1-200. Students should come prepared with specific questions to ask, and are urged to use the Math Center on a regular basis for studying rather than just for last minute help before exams.

COMPUTER CENTER offers various computer-assisted tutorial programs in chemistry, physics, math, and many non-technical areas. Help is given to students in how to use the computer, the software, and the printer.

WRITING CENTER provides free individualized help in writing, and also serves all students enrolled in English 5.

LEGAL ASSISTANCE, 101 Boucke, 863-7094, An attorney is available for advising students.`

LEGAL AFFAIRS (USG), 203A HUB, 863-1874. Offers legal information for students involved with University hearings.

PSYCHOLOGICAL CLINIC, 314 Moore, 865-2191. Provides a full range of clinical psychological services for students.

SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGY CLINIC, 125 Cedar Bldg, 865-1881. Provides services to children, adolescents, and young adults.

SPEECH AND HEARING CLINIC, 111 Moore, 865-5414. Offers speech and hearing evaluation and therapy.

STUDENT AND FAMILY SERVICES, 135 Boucke, 863-1260. Provides general information about University/State College resources and helps students with personal and academic problems.
