Welcome to our site. Penn State Counselor Education Programs have:

  • Emphasis on integrating counseling applications, high levels of scholarship, service commitment, and multiculturalism;

  • Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Master's emphases in Elementary and Secondary School Counseling each accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP);

  • Master's emphasis in Rehabilitation Counseling accredited by the Council on Rehabilitation Education (CORE); funding for one semester of tuition and stipend available for eligible students;

  • NEW Master's emphasis in Career Counseling;

  • NEW Master's emphasis in Mental Health Counseling in Schools and Communities;

  • Faculty who have received national and international recognition for their research and scholarship;
