About: Dr. Hale teaches undergraduate statistics and graduate research courses, as well as behavioral and affective assessment and decisionmaking courses.

Areas of Research: Dr. Hale's teaching and research interests are (a) the use and development of statistical decision making processes in the classification and remediation of learning and emotional difficulties in school-age children, (b) the facilitation of the use of professional research from psychology as it applies to the educational planning for school children, and (c) microcomputer usage in college teaching. Dr. Hale has published numerous articles, chapters, and books in these areas. He is currently working on a multimedia textbook for teaching introductory statistics.
