Penn State alumni rate the quality of their preparation very highly.

Penn State doctoral alumni were surveyed and asked to rate their preparation in comparison to other school psychologists. By date of degree, the responses were:

Penn State interns rate the quality of their preparation very highly.

During the past four years students who completed their internship were asked, "How well did classes and practica at Penn State prepare you for school psychology practice?" Responses were provided using a 5-point scale, ranging from 1 (Poor) to 5 (Very Good). All 21 interns chose Very Good or Good. Their mean response was 4.76 with a median of 5.0.

Field-based supervisors rate the preparation of Penn State interns very highly.

At the completion of the internship, field supervisors of Penn State interns were asked, "How would you rate this student's University preparation in school psychology?" Responses were on a 5-point scale, ranging from 1 (Poor) to 5 (Very Good). For 21 field supervisors, the mean rating was 4.95 and the median was 5.0.
