American Indian Leadership Program

Admissions

We are currently accepting applications for a master's level program in Educational Leadership ("Principals for Student Success"). Students will be selected on the basis of their academic qualifications, commitment to Indian education, and readiness to further develop as leaders.

Admission Requirements

 

Graduate level study emphasizes high quality research, creativity, and scholarship. All applicants to the American Indian Leadership Program must:

  • meet Penn State's Graduate School entrance requirements

  • meet the requirements of the specific degree granting department

  • be American Indian or Alaska Native

  • demonstrate dedication to the improvement of educational opportunities for American Indians and Alaska Natives, and commit to serve in an administrative role in Indian education.

Students will be selected on the basis of their academic qualifications, commitment to Indian education, and readiness to further develop as leaders.
