Learning Outcomes Rubric
The Learning Outcomes Rubric is provided as a tool for students and advisors in the CSA program. The rubric may be used as an advising tool and as a means for assessing the effectiveness of the CSA program in providing experiences through course-work, internships, and assistantships to realize the Learning Outcomes. The Rubric is available through ANGEL.
Assistantship Information and Manual
Experiential learning, a required component of the College Student Affairs program, is accomplished through an assistantship work experience for two years in one funcational area related to student affairs. Through this aspect of the program, CSA students have the opportunity to be involved in the operations of a specific functional area and to develop and refine their skills relative to delivery of services and programs for students, counseling, administration, research, and other professional responsibilities. Internship Information and Manual
All CSA students are required to complete 2 Internship experiences (3 credits each) to meet degree requirements. Additional information is available on our web page and in the Internship Manual.
Professional Organizations
In the interest of furthering the professional development of CSA students, we strongly encourage student involvement in the organizations that advance knowledge, service, and personal development in the field of student affairs. Here we have provided a list of professional organizations.
Travel Grant Application and Reimbursement Information
To request funding or reimbursement for conference travel, students should consult the "Travel Grant Instructions and Application" and the "Travel Reimbursement Instructions" provided below.
