Dean's Graduate Assistantships for Engaged Scholarship and Research in Education
The College of Education, in partnership with the Graduate School, has created a new program of support for up to seven doctoral students in the field of Education. The support will take the form of centrally funded graduate assistantships known as Dean’s Graduate Assistantships for Engaged Scholarship and Research in Education.
The program is designed to support the highest quality students applying for admission to our doctoral programs. All of our graduate programs will be eligible to nominate students and the selection will be made the Committee for Graduate Studies and Research Policy. Each Dean’s Graduate Assistant chosen will receive two years of funding from Penn State sources with the very high likelihood of securing a third and fourth year of funding from externally funded research projects.
