Anita Bowes joined the development and alumni relations team in the College of Education as a marketing communications specialist in November 2010. In this position, she is tasked with monitoring numerous budgets within the department, coordinating travel plans and itineraries for traveling staff, assisting with the planning of events, and processing gift acknowledgment letters, among other responsibilities. Before joining our staff, Anita worked within the College’s Department of Curriculum and Instruction as a support staff for the department head and Waterbury Chair Professor. Anita has been married to her husband, Ken, for 24 years, and the couple shares 3 daughters: Amanda, Ashley, and Chelsea.
