Heather Winfield joined the College of Education as associate director of development in May 2012. Heather works to help alumni and friends of the College develop and realize their philanthropic endeavors. She returned to Penn State after beginning her development career here 8 years ago with the Smeal College of Business. Since then, she has gained valuable experience at Michigan State University, the University of South Florida, and most recently after 5 years as a major gifts officer at Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Florida. She is thrilled to be back in Happy Valley with her husband, who is on faculty with the School of Theatre, and their two children.
