Lori Forlizzi

Lori Forlizzi joined the Institute in 2011 as Adult Reading and Assessment Specialist.  She instructs adult basic education learners, conducts research and development projects, and provides professional development support to other adult basic education instructors, statewide and nationally,  in the areas of student assessment, reading instruction, and writing instruction.  She has worked in the field of adult education since 1988 in a variety of roles, including teaching, research, curriculum and materials development, and professional development.

Areas of interest include continuous improvement of assessment and instruction in reading and writing.
