Stay Connected to the College on Facebook and Twitter

Become a fan of the Penn State's College of Education on Facebook or follow the College on Twitter.

By David Price

In this era of rapidly evolving avenues for communicating, the Penn State's College of Education is making additional efforts to keep its alumni, students, faculty, staff, and friends connected and informed. Now the College is actively on Facebook and Twitter.

The two sites give the College excellent venues to disseminate to a highly interested audience a wide variety of information, including important safety announcements, financial aid information, and news from across the field of education, as well as announcements about new classes, special lectures, and brown bags. Equally important, they are places where people can converse directly with each other and the College about topics in education.

Facebook and Twitter also provide an enhanced opportunity to communicate directly to alumni, education reporters, and special interest groups about the research being done in the College. The sites connect the College to people who are inherently interested in the work being done here who may be inclined to tell others about it.
