New Videos Outline Unique Student Teaching Opportunities

Two new videos from the College of Education describe unique opportunities for students in the College to student teach abroad and/or participate in urban education experiences.

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - The College of Education recently produced videos describing unique student teaching opportunities for undergraduate students.

The Urban Education Experiences video describes three distinct programs students can participate in to experience urban education. Students are able to student teach at the Issac Sheppard School in Philadelphia, participate in online tutoring with Sheppard students, and/or attend the Philadelphia Urban Seminar.

The Student Teaching Abroad video describes the student teaching abroad opportunities available in the College. Students who have participated in the program describe their experiences student teaching abroad.

The Penn State College of Education serves approximately 2,800 undergraduate and 1,200 graduate students each year.
