What are the goals of our Professional Development Schools?
The work of our Penn State and State College Area School District Professional Development Schools is organized using four growth oriented goals that reach across all participants in the partnership.

The first goal is to enhance the educational experiences of all children.

The second goal focuses on ensuring high quality induction into the profession for new teachers.

The third goal is to engage in furthering our own professional growth as school and university based teachers and teacher educators.

The final goal is to prepare the next generation of teacher educators who will go on to create, sustain and renew school university partnerships that are committed to excellence in teacher preparation and professional development through inquiry.
