Commendations

13.1 Provide documentation of annual meeting of Occupational Advisory Committee (OAC) (roster, minutes, recommendations).
MBIT: the new template for OAC minutes provides a comprehensive structure for obtaining viable input and reviewing compliance items. (See OAC Meeting Minutes Template )

Berks: The CTC should be complimented for its recent systemic upgrade of the OAC agenda and minute template. This revised model incorporates all required components as well as including the recommended administrative responses.  (See OAC  Minutes for Machining Technology from Oct. 9, 2007)

Butler: All CIPs. Committees meet annually, validate curricula, recommend equipment and course updates, and provide multiple resources that enhance programs.

GJR: For CIP 12.0505 Institutional Food Worker, there is an outstanding list of OAC committee members. The instructor utilizes this committee as guest speakers.  For CIP 11.0901 Computer Systems Networking, the format, readability, and completeness of the OAC Committee minutes are commendable.

Franklin: All CIPs: The school-wide document for Occupational Advisory Committee meetings provides thorough guidance for formatting and reporting content from the OAC meetings. CIP 47.0604 Automotive & CIP 51.0899: The OAC functions in an exemplary manner. (See pgs.35-47 of THIS PDF DOCUMENT for OAC Documentation)

Mercer: CIP 48.0599 OAC has 31 members, of which 30 are business and industry representatives. CIP 12.0508, 46.0401 meetings were well-documented.

SUN: All CIPs. The OAC is active and an integral part of the program with members providing additional services such as speakers and demonstration. (see pgs. 21-47 of THIS PDF DOCUMENT for OAC documentation)

SUN: ALL CIPs. There is use of a standard format for recording actions of the Occupational Advisory Committee. (see pgs. 21-47 of THIS PDF DOCUMENT for OAC documentation)
