2010 Dates and Locations


The 2010 "Nurse Aide Training: Teaching the Educator" Program will be offered on the following dates at the locations indicated. To attend a workshop, please submit the registration form and $200.00 fee as soon as possible. Each workshop is filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. An email confirming your registration will be sent only after payment has been received. Lodging and meals are the responsibility of the participant. NOTE: Registration for each workshop is limited to 25!

The workshop is from 8:30 AM until 4:00 PM each day.


Note: Penn State may cancel a workshop due to insufficient enrollment. If a workshop is cancelled, registered participants will be notified by telephone or e-mail at least three days prior to the date of the workshop and the participant will have the option to enroll in another workshop.Following workshop completion, two certificates will be issued:

  • A "Certificate of Completion" to those who successfully complete the workshop in its entirety and meet CMS qualifications. The names and license numbers of those who complete the workshop will be sent to the Pennsylvania Department of Education. There will be a $5 charge for each duplicate or replacement certificate.

  • A "Certificate of Continuing Education Recognition" to RNs for 27.3 contact hours of continuing education, (as approved by the Pennsylvania Nurses Association, which is accredited as an approver of continuing education in nursing by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation) and to LPNs for 27.3 contact hours (as approved by NAPNES).
