Dr. Hayes is a Professor of Counseling Psychology. He teaches graduate courses in counseling theory and an undergraduate class in counseling. His scholarly work focuses on therapist factors that affect psychotherapy process and outcome. He is Associate Editor of the Journal of Counseling Psychology, past-President of the North American Chapter of the Society for Psychotherapy Research, and a licensed psychologist in Pennsylvania.
