Charles Hughes is professor of special education. His scholarly interests focus on the research and development of instructional procedures designed to help adolescents and young adults with learning and behavior problems to self-regulate their academic and social behaviors. Dr. Hughes is currently Editor of Learning Disabilities Research and Practice, the journal of the Council for Exceptional Children's Division for Learning Disabilities. He also works with the International Council for Exceptional Children's Division for Learning Disabilities.
