Department: Educational Psychology, Counseling, & Special Education Dr. Stevens's teaching and research interests include teaching effectiveness, theories of learning and instruction, cooperative learning and education of at-risk students. He has done research on effective instructional strategies for mainstreaming academically handicapped students, strategy instruction and cooperative learning processes in reading and writing instruction.
