Associate Professor of Education (Counselor Education) 303 Cedar Campus: University Park Department: Counselor Education, Counseling Psychology, and Rehabilitation Services Program: Counselor Education Dr. Carney is an associate professor of Counselor Education and Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. Her research and publications focus on youth violence specifically school violence, peer-on-peer abuse, and adolescent suicide. Dr. Carney has worked closely with schools on reducing school violence and expanding educational, cultural, and personal opportunities for underserved youth.
