Department: Educational Psychology, Counseling, & Special Education Professor Rusch's research program focuses upon model program development that will serve to reshape the futures of all secondary-aged youth with disabilities, redirecting resources toward the realistic goals of employment and/or post secondary education (community engagement), thereby promoting the economic, physical and psychological well being of an entire segment of our population-young adults with disabilities. His research is primarily focused upon the design of interventions that promote the economic, social, and health and well being of adolescents and young adults with disabilities. Dr. Rusch received from the University of Oregon a B.Sc. in Psychology and an M.S. in Special Education. He received his Ph.D. in Special Education from the University of Washington.
