Jacqueline Edmondson teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in reading and language arts, and she teaches graduate seminars on special topics that include situated literacies and education policy. Jackie’s research is focused on education policy, rural schools and communities, and biography. Her books include America Reads: A Critical Policy Study (2000), Prairie Town: Redefining Rural Life in an Age of Globalization (2003), Understanding and Applying Critical Policy Study: Reading Educators Advocating for Change (2004), Venus and Serena Williams: A Biography (2005), Reading Education Policy (2005 - co-edited with Patrick Shannon), and Condoleezza Rice: A Biography (2006).
