This is a database of internship opportunities compiled by the Department of Counselor Education, Counseling Psychology, and Rehabilitation and Human Services in the College of Education.
Rehabilitation and Human Services Intern Database
Students may search for a site by using four different options. You may search by disability category, by agency name, by county, and by state. Searching by state will produce a more detailed list. Search results are returned in alphabetical order by agency name.
The database includes over 300 agencies that have provided internships for students in Rehabilitation and Human Services. If you are looking for a particular site and it is not found in this database, this does not necessarily mean that it is not an appropriate site, only that the site was not listed in our current files. Students should remember that the Internship Coordinator must approve all internship sites regardless of whether the agency has been used in the past.
Please note, that although the supervisor's name is listed, it may not be accurate due to turnovers in agencies. We strive to keep the records as updated as we can, but if an agency has not hosted an intern recently some data may be outdated.
The deadlines for internship paperwork to be turned in are as follows:
Fall semester: July 1st* Spring semester: November 1st* Summer semester: April 1st*
*Paperwork turned in after these deadlines will result in a one-letter grade deduction for the internship experience.
