KayLynn has been an adult education practitioner since 1992. She joined the ISAL staff in 2001 as a staff member of ISAL's workforce education programs. KayLynn serves as the Workforce Education Liaison for the Pennsylvania Department of Education Bureau of Postsecondary and Adult Education Division of Adult Education and Family Literacy. In this position, KayLynn is primarily responsible for providing leadership to the development and implementation of the Division's Career Pathways for Adults initiative. She also is responsible for assisting the Division in aligning workforce development initiatives through training and support for, adn through interaction and regional planning with Bureau staff, PDS staff and targeted ABLE initiatives. Additional responsibilities include the development of recommendations to ABLE policy and the identification of opportunities and expand efforts to build relationships and linkages with key stakeholders in the Commonwealth's workforce development system.
KayLynn also serves as the program director of ISAL's new Career Pathways adult basic education programs partnered at the PA CareerLink® in Centre and Lycoming counties.
Areas of interest include professional development and workforce development as they relate to adult basic education.
