James M. Yeager

Bachelor of Science, Secondary Education Social Sciences, Lock Haven University

James joined the Institute in 2007; prior to that he worked for Central Intermediate Unit #10 in several projects. James worked as an ABE/GED teacher for the Development Center for Adults in Clinton County. James also served as a trainer for the Central Northeast Professional Development Center and the West Branch Technology Center. For the past 3 years, James provided technical support and data analysis assistance for the Pennsylvania Department of Education Bureau of Adult Basic and Literacy Education’s (ABLE) online data collection systems.

At ISAL, James works with the ABLE Tech Project, providing technical support for the Bureau of ABLE’s data collection systems.

James’ main areas of interest include several aspects of adult literacy, including data analysis, program improvement and research.
