Rankings - Graduate ProgramsU.S. News & World ReportAll of the College of Education graduate programs in areas that are ranked by the U.S. News & World Report appear at least in the top 15, with six programs in the top 10.
The College's graduate programs as a whole rank 31st out of the 277 colleges identified by U.S. News & World Report. Penn State is among the nation's leaders, which consist primarily of Ivy League, Big Ten and Pac Ten universities. The College offers a number of other highly regarded programs in areas not ranked by U.S. News & World Report. These programs include Adult Education, College Student Affairs, Comparative and International Education, Instructional Systems, and School Psychology. Faculty Scholarly Productivity Index
The index is a joint project of the State University of New York at Stony Brook and Academic Analytics, a for-profit company that contracts with colleges and universities to help them determine faculty productivity. The nationwide rankings of the top 10 programs in 104 disciplines appeared in the January 12, 2007 issue of The Chronicle of Higher Education.
