Washington D.C. Networking Trips
May 16 & 17 , 2007

Description

The purpose of this trip is to enable faculty to meet with project directors and/or program officers of various federal agencies and to identify the current research initiatives within those agencies.  This will allow faculty to develop networks with project directors within these agencies.  We have found this to be very helpful for faculty, as they search for funding to pursue their research agenda.

 How to Attend

Nominations are solicited from the Department Heads each semester, but faculty are welcome to self-nominate.  All nominations are due four weeks prior to the trip date requested.

The Office of Graduate Studies, Research, and Faculty Development will fund one tenure-track or tenured faculty member per department. This funding is offered to College of Education faculty only.
