The Penn State College of Education at University Park is seeking a Events Specialist for the Operations department.
The Events Specialist plans and organizes large-scale events; collaborates with internal stakeholders to understand objectives and develop event budgets; researches and recommends venues; coordinates logistics including transportation, accommodations, meals, and technology; builds and maintains relationships with vendors; directs personnel to ensure operations run smoothly on the day of the event.
This position typically requires a Associate's Degree plus two years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
