Mission of the Office Of Education and Social Equity

The Office of Education and Social Equity (OESE) provides intentional, relationship-driven support to undergraduates from all backgrounds, fostering both academic success and personal growth. We uplift student voices, cultivate authentic community, and champion a strong sense of belonging from students’ transition to college through graduation.

Through mentorship, resource navigation, wellness-focused guidance, and student-centered programs such as S.C.O.P.E., OESE empowers students as both learners and leaders. We offer targeted programming to build essential success skills, host community-rooted events that create brave and inclusive spaces, and provide the support students need to confidently navigate a rigorous university environment and become the next generation of changemakers.
